How can you stabilise your Mental Health?

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts. ~ Winston Churchill  I was recently listening to a podcast episode of Teenager Therapy where the co-hosts asked questions and discussed the topic of bullying and Mental Health with guest Maggie Lindemann, an Instagram sensation, singer, and songwriter. The episode caught my fancy and I was eager to write something about the importance of Mental Health and how one can have stable mental health.  Similarly, Sushant Singh Rajput's (former Bollywood actor) death saddened me deeply. I realized that death is never beautiful. Suicide is never the answer. Instead, one should be grateful for a beautiful and healthy life because you will never get to live this life again. So let's go in deeper and uncover the answers related to keeping positive mental health.  Similar Articles: 6 ways to Rejuvenate Yourself What is Mental Health? A summer day in my life | Sassy Teen

In one of my posts, I gave you a glimpse into my quarantine life. Today, I'll give you a glimpse again, but into a better, outdoorsy life (that's what I love). I thought it would be better to let you guys in on what I have been doing. And here's the thing, my routine isn't very fancy or entertaining. It's just a typical day.                  Click  here   to see what I had been up to in my quarantine lifestyle. So, let's not wait anymore and get started!  Morning Routine  My alarm goes off at 5:45 am. I wake up, drink 2 glasses of water, brush my teeth and start getting ready for tennis. I like to drink a glass of milk before starting my tennis kit preparation. Then I pack my tennis kit (get the water bottles, towels and racquets ready) and leave my house at 6:15 am.   The session begins at 6:30 am and finishes at 8 o'clock. Then I reach home at around 8:30 am. After drinking my protein shake, takin

13 random facts about me

Before beginning with my post, I would like to tell you that I have achieved a milestone with my 20th blog post. This has been a small goal but I'm elated to have achieved it. So, on this special occasion, I bring to you 10 Random Facts about Me that you might not know. So, let's get started! #1 I first played tennis at the age of 4. In 2010, my family moved from the U.S. to India. So, I started tennis again in India at the age of 7. I played my first ever tournament when I was 8 years old.  #2 I love cycling. This is what I love to do in the mornings and evenings in vacations. I could go on long rides on my bicycle. It makes me feel happier. Cycling on roads and going from one place to another might not be the ideal plan for vacations for a lot of people. But for me, it really is! #3 I'm a die-hard Jonas brothers fan. It's hard to choose favourites but I would go with Joe Jonas. For me, he is the coolest of the th

Celebrating the Environment

"What's the use of a fine house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on." ~ Henry David Thoreau  June 5. Does this date ring a bell? Well, of course today is June 5. But what is the importance of this date? We celebrate June 5 as World Environment Day every year to heal the wounds that the human race has given to Mother Earth. But I don't think that one day is enough to heal the wounds that we have been causing to nature for all these years. Instead of thinking about making big contributions and major changes to the environment, just do your part! Fulfill your contribution and then move forward. Instead of dreaming about planting a hundred trees, start with just planting one.  On the occasion of World Environment Day, let's take a pledge together to help heal Mother Earth. Here's a list of 5 things that we should start doing after this World Environment Day.  1. Recycling. This helps reduce landfill waste, reduce energy consumption

Water has so many benefits. There is a reason behind drinking 8 glasses of water a day. But does water really help in losing weight? Well, the simple answer is yes. The more water you drink, the more it's beneficial (and that is obvious without being said).            Not many people know this but water isn't only necessary to hydrate yourself. It is also used to transport your food to body parts other than the stomach. If you don't drink enough water, your food would not be transported and that will lead to weight gain.  ★Now, it's time to know 5 points that state the benefits of water and how it can help you lose weight.  ● Water before every meal. Drinking water before any meal helps you burn additional calories. Water is an appetite suppressant which makes you feel fuller. One glass of water before any meal reduces much of your craving and unnecessary snacking. A person may actually think they are hungry when they are actually thirsty. So drink water whe
