Total Core "Burn" workout

My experience from 2019

What did I learn from the previous year? "Never blame anyone in your life.     Good people give you happiness.   Bad people give you experience.     Worst people give you a lesson   & best people give you memories". 2019 has been a remarkable journey. I have had some good and memorable experiences and have had to face a little bit of adversity too. That's life !!       Last year, my family and I had spent 10 days in Greece in April. The trip was amazing and I loved Greece. We visited Athens, Naxos, Paros and of course, Santorini. A photo of the Temple of the Olympian Zeus in Athens. A photo of the Apollo Temple in Naxos. A photo of the beautiful city of Santorini. A photo of the  Panathenaic Stadium in Athens. The only stadium in the world to be completely made of marble. I also visited the Parthenon in Athens and many other places in Greece too. I also visi

What I do in a day during lockdown!!

Lifestyle "A daily routine built on good habits and disciplines separates the most successful among us from everyone else". I know that lockdown has been hard on all of us. But we can learn to build on some good habits and a good daily routine to develop and nourish ourselves for the future. In my 4th blog post I bring to you the activities that I do in a day (for the weekdays) during lockdown. My routine is consistent. It is nothing really fancy, but remember, habits form  a character. The short poem below justifies my sentence really well.  Sow a thought, and you reap an act ;   Sow an act, and you reap a habit ; Sow a habit, and you reap a character ;   Sow a character, and you reap a  destiny .  So, set your routine well and follow it. Be disciplined!  1. I wake up at 6:25 am in the morning. I freshen up and start getting ready for my fitness. Then, I collect all my gear, fill up my water bottle and get my towel.       2. I arrange all

My journey of becoming an 'Effective Teen'

Self Help for Teens  "You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend". Let's face it! It's hard to find time for yourself, school, hobbies, passions, outdoor activities, chores and much more. Teens these days have so much on their plates to do. And I know that it's hard to make some crucial  desicions in life. But luckily I found my compass to navigate my way out.                                   Last year, my cousin gave me this book called - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey.  Whenever I started reading the book, I could never finish it (it is a lengthy book). But I finally finished reading the whole book during this period of lockdown. And I'm really ecstatic after finishing the whole   book. So, I thought - Why not share the 7 habits with you guys? Without further ado, let's see what these 7 Habits are and what they are about -  1. Be Pro

How to stay fit during lockdown period?

Fitness and Health "All progress takes place outside the comfort zone." Who knew a mere bat could bring the whole world economy down in one go? Ironic, right! But as per the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, the demand of the time is to stay fit and healthy while staying inside your houses.                       Urban Indian society appears to be quite concerned about the chances of gaining weight during this lockdown. But you don't have to worry about this. Follow the guidelines given below to stay in good physical shape. Being a tennis player who works out and does immense physical activity for 5 hours, 5 days a week (not these days, of course!), I'm sure I can give you some tips that you'll find worth paying heed to.                 The importance of timely and regular meals cannot be over-emphasized. Body metabolism works best when you eat foods at regular intervals instead of being erratic. It is particularly important to avoid eating dinner very late and s

Introducing Me

My name is Inayat Roy  and I'm 14 years old. Since this is my very first blog post, I would like to describe my journey of how I started to blog.                    " Creativity doesn't wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones." One of my classmates started blogging recently.  She shared her blogging ideas with me which I was fascinated to see. After watching her admiration for blogs based on spirituality, I was keen on starting one myself. But then came up the question - " What will I write about"? I started searching for blog ideas on the Internet, but was disappointed as I couldn't find any intriguing topics. Finally, I decided to write about my own lifestyle . What a marvellous idea! I would also like to share my views about ongoing issues that surround us in our daily lives. I want to be blogging for others to view what new they can add in their lives. I don't have any major blo
