The Significance of a Teacher in one's life

5 September

Every year, this date is celebrated as National Teacher's Day in India. This date holds importance to appreciate the value of a teacher in a pupil's life. This date marks the birth anniversary of our former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

Dr. Radhakrishnan served as the first Vice - President and second President of  independent India. Not only was he a statesmen, but a philosopher and educator as well. His sterling teaching style is what he is most remembered for. He once rightly said "The true teachers are those who help us think for ourselves".

Teachers form the backbones and pillars of the nation. They devote their lives for the welfare of the society through educating young minds. Teacher's day is crucial for students to recognise how much efforts teachers put in teaching them. In our culture, teachers are placed above God. The teacher - pupil bond is the strongest bond of all. Thus, celebrating this day is even more important.

So how are you planning to celebrate teacher's day this year? Below I've given a few ways to celebrate this Teacher's Day while in quarantine.

1. Shower teachers with heart-warming messages. Send a WhatsApp message or email your teacher telling them how much you appreciate their hardwork.

2. "Thank you" video. Create a short video thanking your teacher for their commitments for your betterment.

3. E-gift Card. Send an E-gift card to your teacher acknowledging their efforts to make you better. Maybe this is the best way to virtually thank your teacher.

4. Social media shout out. Give a shout out to your teacher on any of your social media accounts.

5. A letter. Go old school! Write and send a letter to your teacher letting them know who much you respect and admire them.

At the end, I would like to express my gratitude to my teachers for their consideration and guidance all these years. Thank you so much!

Introducing Me

My name is Inayat Roy  and I'm 14 years old. Since this is my very first blog post, I would like to describe my journey of how I started to blog.                    " Creativity doesn't wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones." One of my classmates started blogging recently.  She shared her blogging ideas with me which I was fascinated to see. After watching her admiration for blogs based on spirituality, I was keen on starting one myself. But then came up the question - " What will I write about"? I started searching for blog ideas on the Internet, but was disappointed as I couldn't find any intriguing topics. Finally, I decided to write about my own lifestyle . What a marvellous idea! I would also like to share my views about ongoing issues that surround us in our daily lives. I want to be blogging for others to view what new they can add in their lives...

Fitness goals! Most people definitely have one. Some want to gain weight, some want to lose, and others want to maintain it. And why not? You probably want to look better, you have a desire to look unique and perfect, or you want to lead a longer and higher quality of life.  According to your shape and body structure, you may be categorized as an ectomorph, mesomorph, or an endomorph. These are the 3 principal body types. Your body type is completely based on your genetics. But that doesn't mean that you can't change your body type.  Bringing a little variation in your lifestyle can definitely help you achieve the fitness/weight goals you're trying to reach.  What is your body type?  ↠ Ectomorph. If you're body is thin and lanky with a small bone structure, you fall in this category. Ectomorphs have really fast and high metabolism.
