Happy International Dog's Day

 A dog is a man's best friend..

This is a common phrase that you may have heard considering how loyal and affectionate dogs have always been to humans. These social pack animals have contributed so much to our human race.

Dogs will always forget of the little bad things that might've happened to them. But they'll always love their owners unconditionally and never be mad at them. They'll always have your back, no matter what!

International Dog's Day is celebrated every year on August 26. This day is about giving respect to dogs of all breeds. A day to encourage dog adoption.

In this post, I've spread out a number of ways you can celebrate this day with your furry friend.

10 ways to celebrate your furry friend 🐶

1. Go for a long walk. If you're dog is no longer a little pup, take it outdoors for a longer walk than usual. Somewhere it may have never been. Let it roam around themselves so that they can have a taste of freedom too (unless you're dog takes a second to run away).

2. Give your dog more attention. Increase play time, pet them more, spend more time with them. To make them feel that you're always there for them and you really love them.

3. Dog play date. Invite your dog's friends from the neighbourhood and volunteer to take them on a walk or  throw all of them a "dog party". Let them all hang out together and make this a unique day for all of them.

4. Get them a gift. A new bed, collar, leash or anything that might have to be renewed can be given on this day to display your love towards them. Get anything to spoil them!

5. Give them dog friendly foods to eat. Cookies, dog friendly cakes, or other treats that your dog may like. Shower them with new treats that you might've not given them before.

There's a whole long list for things you wanna do for your dog on this special day. But I've just named a few in this list. Celebrate and enjoy this day to the fullest with your dog and have a great time! I wish my dog Bruno was still here with me to celebrate this day. (Here is the post that I've written about my beloved dog who'll always be remembered). I'll always love him! Give all the love to your dogs that you can because they deserve it. Thanks for reading.

A Beginner's Guide To Resistance Bands

Resistance bands are the new workout trend in 2020 for the fitness industry. These bands are made up of rubber (latex) and work best for muscle strengthening, rehabilitation and stretching.  Amid the pandemic, people are looking for affordable equipment that is best for home workouts. Whilst using resistance bands, you don't require any heavy weights. That is the best part about them! In this post you'll be learning about the types of resisitance bands, bands from the best brands and their prices, and workouts with resisitance bands for beginners.  What are the main distinct types of resisitance bands?  1. Loop resisitance bands. Loop resisitance bands make your muscles move harder. The loop bands provide stabilization to the body. Thus, along with muscle strength you also gain balance as well. Especially postural balance.  2. Tube resistance bands (may have handles). The basic resistance bands. These pairs of bands are more efficient than any kinds of heavy weights. Light-weig

In memory of my dog, Bruno

For a lot of people Bruno was just a mere store-bought dog, like any other pet dog. He was the most adorable and loving dog I have ever known.  Bruno was born on 25 December, 2018, Tuesday. The first time I laid eyes on him was 6 February, 2019 at 8:19 PM. Dad got him in a cage inside the house.  Little 42 days old Bruno! My sisters and I didn't know that dad was thinking of getting a dog in the house. My mom simply opposed the idea. I had been pleading for a pup for 3 years before Bruno came.  When dad got him, we kids started screaming with both joy and fright (knowing mom would say to give him back to the store owner). But how could someone give away such a little dog with his cute, tiny face and paws. I first thought of telling dad to give him away. But I never did. Because I wanted to keep him.  We got him everything we thought he might have wanted. His cage, his bed, his chewing bones, etc. He was also the best footballer  I had ever known (lemme rephrase that). H
