The Teen Prism | Sassy Teen

Blogging is a journey that has been worth taking for me. A few weeks ago, an idea to start a podcast struck me too. And now, that idea has transformed to reality. I, along with 4 of my friends started a podcast two weeks ago. So, I thought of sharing the podcast episodes with my readers as well. The name of the Podcast is "The Teen Prism".

E1 : Sushant Singh Rajput/ Bullying/ Nepotism

The very first episode of the Podcast was released on July 1, 2020.

The description of the episode:

In this episode, Inayat, Jasmannat and Saanvi talk about how Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide bothered them. They also discussed about nepotism in general and how talented people are left behind in the Bollywood industry and other walks of life whereas untalented nepotism products are glamourized.

My point of view: This episode shows you the real colours of Bollywood. The film industry seems to be colourful, bright and promising. But the reality is completely different. The industry is full of dark, hidden secrets. Out of all these secrets, only a few have been uncovered after Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

There is nepotism and favouritism in the industry which makes untalented star kids shine and talented outsiders to starve.

A Beginner's Guide To Resistance Bands

Resistance bands are the new workout trend in 2020 for the fitness industry. These bands are made up of rubber (latex) and work best for muscle strengthening, rehabilitation and stretching.  Amid the pandemic, people are looking for affordable equipment that is best for home workouts. Whilst using resistance bands, you don't require any heavy weights. That is the best part about them! In this post you'll be learning about the types of resisitance bands, bands from the best brands and their prices, and workouts with resisitance bands for beginners.  What are the main distinct types of resisitance bands?  1. Loop resisitance bands. Loop resisitance bands make your muscles move harder. The loop bands provide stabilization to the body. Thus, along with muscle strength you also gain balance as well. Especially postural balance.  2. Tube resistance bands (may have handles). The basic resistance bands. These pairs of bands are more efficient than any kinds of heavy weights. Light-weig

In memory of my dog, Bruno

For a lot of people Bruno was just a mere store-bought dog, like any other pet dog. He was the most adorable and loving dog I have ever known.  Bruno was born on 25 December, 2018, Tuesday. The first time I laid eyes on him was 6 February, 2019 at 8:19 PM. Dad got him in a cage inside the house.  Little 42 days old Bruno! My sisters and I didn't know that dad was thinking of getting a dog in the house. My mom simply opposed the idea. I had been pleading for a pup for 3 years before Bruno came.  When dad got him, we kids started screaming with both joy and fright (knowing mom would say to give him back to the store owner). But how could someone give away such a little dog with his cute, tiny face and paws. I first thought of telling dad to give him away. But I never did. Because I wanted to keep him.  We got him everything we thought he might have wanted. His cage, his bed, his chewing bones, etc. He was also the best footballer  I had ever known (lemme rephrase that). H

Happy International Dog's Day

A dog is a man's best friend..   This is a common phrase that you may have heard considering how loyal and affectionate dogs have always been to humans. These social pack animals have contributed so much to our human race.  Dogs will always forget of the little bad things that might've happened to them. But they'll always love their owners unconditionally and never be mad at them. They'll always have your back, no matter what!  International Dog's Day is celebrated every year on August 26. This day is about giving respect to dogs of all breeds. A day to encourage dog adoption.  In this post, I've spread out a number of ways you can celebrate this day with your furry friend.  10 ways to celebrate your furry friend 🐶 1. Go for a long walk. If you're dog is no longer a little pup, take it outdoors for a longer walk than usual. Somewhere it may have never been. Let it roam around themselves so that they can have a taste of freedom too (
