How can you sleep better?

In one of my previous posts, I gave 5 tips and tricks you may follow to wake up earlier than your usual time (click here  to read that post). Here's the thing; to wake up early, it's important to sleep early too.  But maybe you are one of those night owls who likes to watch television late at night whereas you might want to get in bed early at the same time too. That's a little too impossible. But don't worry! In this post, I'm going to give you a few tips and tricks that will help you to hit the sack early and sleep better.  As I have to wake up early in the morning, I too find it hard to wake up early when I sleep late the previous night. I started changing the night routine a bit which was a definite aid. So I thought, why not share these tips with you guys too.  5 Tips and Tricks to help you sleep better!  1. Drink milk. You may or may not know this but milk has melatonin in it, a hormone which regulates your sleep

In memory of my dog, Bruno

For a lot of people Bruno was just a mere store-bought dog, like any other pet dog. He was the most adorable and loving dog I have ever known.  Bruno was born on 25 December, 2018, Tuesday. The first time I laid eyes on him was 6 February, 2019 at 8:19 PM. Dad got him in a cage inside the house.  Little 42 days old Bruno! My sisters and I didn't know that dad was thinking of getting a dog in the house. My mom simply opposed the idea. I had been pleading for a pup for 3 years before Bruno came.  When dad got him, we kids started screaming with both joy and fright (knowing mom would say to give him back to the store owner). But how could someone give away such a little dog with his cute, tiny face and paws. I first thought of telling dad to give him away. But I never did. Because I wanted to keep him.  We got him everything we thought he might have wanted. His cage, his bed, his chewing bones, etc. He was also the best footballer  I had ever known (lemme rephrase that). H

Adventures in biking!

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great time because honestly, this week has been amaz-inggg for me. As I once told you in one of my blog posts (link to the post:  here ), I love cycling. To discover new roads and cycle through the ones already known is like the best thing ever to me.  Recently, I went cycling with two of my friends on the streets of the city. It was fantastic! And in this post, I'll let you know all about the journey.  First of all, I went to one of my friend's house who lives real close to my house. It barely took 5 minutes and we were onto getting our other friend from her home.  We decided to ride to our school which was at the most 10 minutes away. And all of a sudden, it started to rain. First the rain and the cars splashing water from the roads on us. And three of us getting soaking wet. Imagine all of it! And all of a sudden I realised that one of my friends was missing. My other accomplice and I started finding her. It took us 5 minutes t

Starting your day early | Sassy Teen

Ever thought of going for an early morning jog for which you need to wake up at 5 in the morning? But you end up getting up at 9 (realising that you pressed the snooze button). You cannot deny the fact that you love to snooze your alarm in the mornings. I live to do that too. But after 15 minutes, I realise that I don't have any time to waste and I need to hurry up with my work. However, that doesn't sound right. I prefer waking up early and taking things a bit slower.  But the question is - how can you achieve that? In today's post, I'll give you some tips and tricks that will help you to wake up earlier than usual and start your day on a high note. It'll be hard in the beginning. But when things start working, you'll love these methods.  5 tricks to wake up early!  1. Say NO to drastic changes.  This is the first thing to remember to wake up early. If you normally wake up at 8 in the morning, don't expect yourself to be up in bed at
